You may be curious to know where to get custom made Dream Catchers in Malaysia, and now at Green Daun New Age Craft Shop in Petaling Jaya, you can walk in and get yours done here.
Update: We DO NOT custom make any dream catchers or sell any materials for this since 2019. (Kita takde buat custom dream catcher lagi)
We have been making dream catchers since 2014, and now we have our own boutique and speakeasy new-age craft shop here in PJ, where customers can walk in and custom-make a dream catcher.
Dream Catchers in Malaysia have been a trend for the last couple of years, and many people love the idea of having their designs and colours.
But if you are a true dreamcatcher lover, you would know that most of the cheaply made, mass-produced dreamcatchers are from Indonesia and China, and the finishing is fundamental and low-quality.

We offer most types of dream catchers in round shape. However, we also have a speciality service of making owl dream catchers in Malaysia.
Other designs that you can order include crochet design dream catchers, off shaped designs and many other unique designs for dream catchers.
One of the special designs we make is also the 3D dream catcher, which is very different and unique. We have samples of this in our store, and while stocks last too.
Our designs are mainly based on international standards, and prices range from RM23.00 for a small necklace or car design, and up to RM180.00 or more for a large owl dream catcher.
The best part about custom making a dream catcher is that you can choose the design and colors you like, which makes it one of a kind.
How Long Does it take for a Custom Made Dream Catcher?
Our custom-made dream catchers usually take five to seven working days to complete. Of course, this depends on our current pending dream catcher orders.
If you cannot come and collect the finished product, we can mail it to you for a small fee, using PosLaju. Or we will keep it on our display until you come and collect the dream catcher.

Dream Catcher Making Workshop in Malaysia (No more class or workshop)
The Green Daun also conducts Dream Catcher Making Classes in Malaysia at our craft shop in Damansara Perdana, and it is open to everyone.
We recommend buying the materials from our shop and learning from online tutorials on YouTube, as it is much easier this way. But if you need physical guidance, feel free to contact us.
Dream Catcher Workshops include all materials, and you need to make a booking for the class, for individual or group classes.
At the dream catcher making class, you will learn how to make a standard 10 cm (3.9″ inch) round dream catcher, webbing and fixing the feathers, and when you are done, you can take it home with you.
The class is open to all ages, meaning children and adults can learn. Please note that making a dream catcher requires only your passion and patience, which requires little skill.
Update: We no longer custom-make any dream catchers or sell any materials for this since 2019.
Why People Prefer Custom-Made Dream Catchers?
There are too many cheaply made dream catchers being sold in Malaysia. Most of the ones you see are mass-produced in other third-world countries.
Have you seen some of the web finishing and quality of these cheap dream catchers, the ones sold from RM7.00 to RM29.90?
Yes, those dream catchers are flooding the market in popular tourist areas like Jonker Street in Melaka and the Batu Feringgi Night Market in Penang.
With so many cheap dream catchers, some people want high-quality, properly made, well-finished, high-quality materials.
If you check online, especially on platforms like Lazada, Facebook, or Instagram, you will see many people selling mass-produced dream catchers for really low prices.
What is terrible is that sellers sometimes claim that they hand-make it and use words like “100% handmade with high quality” and so on.
You can fool some people, but not everyone. Please note the finished product and do some research to see the comparison.
Update: We no longer custom-make any dream catchers or sell any materials for this since 2019.
Who are we?
You may want to know who is Green Daun, and this boutique dream catcher shop is operated by Janice and David, who are passionate about dream catchers, unique crafts, beads and accessories.
At our craft shop in PJ, we also sell feathers, crystal beads, wooden beads, ribbons, macramé materials, dream catcher accessories and parts, Ojo de Dios (God’s Eye), scrapbooking materials, etc.
Overall, we are not your regular craft supply store that caters to the masses, but more of a boutique new-age craft shop in Klang Valley.
Please think of us as a concept craft store where we specialize in certain types of craft materials. For example, you may be asking where to buy feathers in PJ or Malaysia, and we are the right place that sells these.
